Steven VanderVelde serves as President of ProviNET Solutions, a nationally recognized managed IT services and EHR consulting firm serving the senior living industry.  In this role, Steven leads the overall strategic direction, growth, and operations of the organization, with a focus on deepening ProviNET’s partnerships, expanding its market presence, and positioning the company for its next chapter as a leader in senior living technology.

Steven’s roots in senior living run deeper than most.  He began his career in senior living at the age of 16 and has spent more than two decades building expertise at the intersection of technology and senior care.  He joined ProviNET in 2011 and has since played an instrumental role in the company’s growth, leading its most strategic partnerships and driving the EHR consulting pipeline that has kept ProviNET’s team at capacity for years.

With deep experience in IT strategic planning, EHR implementation, and technology consulting, Steven is widely recognized as a subject matter expert in senior living technology and shares his knowledge by speaking at a variety of conferences and trade shows. He actively participates in leading senior living affiliations including LeadingAge CAST.

Steven leads with a servant leadership philosophy, believing that the strength of an organization lives in its people, its culture, and the trust it builds with the clients it serves.  Under his leadership, ProviNET continues to grow the way it always has:  through relationships, reputation, and a commitment to helping senior living providers use technology to better care for those in their charge.
