Senior Network Engineer
Job summary
The Senior Network Engineer will collaborate with the Engineering team to assist in the architecture, design, build, and maintenance of the network infrastructure within Public Cloud, ProviNET Solutions’ Datacenters, and on-premise environments. The Senior Network Engineer will manage and service both our internal, and Clients’ networking environments.
Summary of essential job functions
- Work with all teams at ProviNET to implement Cloud and/or Hybrid IT networking solutions that support our internal and Clients’ needs
- Provide daily support of our internal and Clients’ IT network infrastructure via service tickets
- Participate in 24×7 on-call rotations
- Be assigned as a technical resource for internal and Client projects
- Assist in pre-sales activity with Client Care and Solutions Architects
- Expertise aligning business objectives with technical solutions
- Participate in architecture and design sessions related to IT strategy
- Develop automated methods to remediate and mitigate network events and minimize network operational complexity
- Mentoring of junior consulting staff
- Drive operational excellence to improve network performance and reliability
- Create and update technical documentation
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years experience in design, and management of LAN and WAN infrastructure
- Certifications: CCNA/CCNP or equivalent; SonicWall, Aruba
- Advanced knowledge and experience with QoS across Enterprise networks, VoIP, and high-availability network environments
- Experience with multiple networking vendors including, but not limited to: Cisco, SonicWall, HP/Aruba, Fortinet, Ruckus
