Ziegler Senior Living Conference a success

Carl Goodfriend, CIO of ProviNET Solutions, speaks at 16th Annual Ziegler Senior Living Finance and Strategy Conference

Tinley Park, IL (September, 2013) The Annual Ziegler Senior Living Conference was a great success held in San Antonio, Texas. This invitation-only event, focused on cutting-edge finance and strategic positioning trends affecting today’s senior living providers. The conference is designed for CEOs, CFOs, key board members and institutional investors, credit enhancers, rating agency representatives and industry professionals. On Thursday, September 26, 2013, Carl Goodfriend participated as an expert speaker at the 3-day, Ziegler Senior Living Finance and Strategy Conference in San Antonio, Texas.

To break the ice, Carl started his presentation with having “Siri” from his iPhone introduce him, which turned out to be very impressive. For those that are unfamiliar with what “Siri” is, it is an application available on an iPhone. It lets you use your voice to send messages, schedule meetings, place phone calls and more, right from your phone. She understands what you say, knows what you mean, and even talks back to you. It was a great hit. After the excitement died down, Carl got down to business with highlighting the information technology arm of Providence Life Services, and how their area of expertise has expanded into a for-profit venture that is notable contributor to the organization’s revenue stream.
