The beginning of Providence and the development of the Fairways go hand in hand. Planning for the Fairways went on throughout 1989 and ground was broken in November of the same year.
A large site situated around a small lake and featuring an abundance of oak trees gave Providence a two-fold scenario. One, they had a beautiful plot of land to work with, but two, they had the difficult |

task of maintaining God’s creative beauty.
Providence preserved and enhanced the park-like environment by developing the town homes in clusters that in turn minimized any disturbances of nature while also preserving as much open space as possible.
The result is 78 residences nestled in a picturesque wooded setting that offer maintenance-free resort living for the active senior.
As a visionary in long-term care needs, Providence developed the town homes on the same campus as Village Woods, a member of Rest Haven Christian Services. Town home residents benefit from the daily amenities offered at Village Woods and can move into Village Woods when they need assistance with daily living.

Providence collaborated with Villas of America in 1996 to begin developing the Villas of South Holland. This is a community of 64 beautiful town homes created for persons 55 and older. The Villas offer residents wonderful ranch and two-story town homes without the nagging responsibilities of snow removal, lawn care, yard work, as well as other repairs and maintenance headaches.

Providence developed the Victorian Courts in Homer Glen. The Victorian Courts consist of 65 town homes situated in Victorian Village. Victorian Village also houses the Victorian Inn and the Grand Victorian.
